Zhijian ‘James’ Chen was named a Clarivate 2025 Citation Laureate along with Andrea Ablasser, M.D., of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and Glen N. Barber, Ph.D., of Ohio State University for their joint elucidation of the cGAS-STING pathway, a fundamental mechanism of innate immunity.
Ben Cravatt received the Tetrahedron Award for Creativity in Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry, for his pioneering work to advance how scientists study and target disease-relevant proteins; in particular, his lab’s development of activity-based protein profiling (ABPP)—a key tool for team eDyNAmiC.
